Anzacs and WW2 service

One hundred years ago, thirty seven men left this community and our congregation at Canterbury Baptist Church for what they saw as ‘the War to End All Wars’. The next generation were also called on to serve here and overseas in World War 2. In all, 108 men and women are remembered on our Honour Boards.

Though all these men have passed away, they can still live in our memories. This is the inspiration for two books from our own Janine Wood - “From Names to Lives: Remembering our Anzacs”, and "Names to Lives from World War II"

Copies of both book are  available. Please contact us by email here or call us on 039888 6660.
